This final project is about creating a curative retreat center based on our chosen topic of the first assignment given to us. By using the greyhouse as the site location, we had design the space accordingly.

Reflection:

The theme of this semester project was interesting and it was a great experience to gain knowledge by understanding the target user more and what the space really needs. It was something different than before and it was enjoyable. There were hardship throughout this assignment, but I've done the best I could from what I've learned in the semester. I would like to say thank you to the lectures in IDP3 and my classmates that had helped me throughtout the whole semester. 

Project 2b: Site Analysis

For this assignment, The Greyhouse Bangsar was chosen as our site visit for this semester. The whole class was divided into 3 different group; Swot group, technical drawing group and model making. I took the model making group for this assignment. On the day of the site visit, I took some photo of the building for reference. 

Reflection:

For the model making group, it took us 3 whole days doing the model together at campus. Everyone contributed a lot in doing this model and we manage to finish it as fast as we can. There were a few errors while doing the model because the measurement, but we manage to finish it in the end. 

Project 2a: Promotional Kiosk

For this assignment, with the same group members as last time, we are required to do a promotional kiosk booth with our own logo regarding to our same topic as the previous assignment. my group had proposed the idea of Aurora kiosk of tea tasting, body scrub as well as information about the curative retreat center. By dividing the work load among the group members, I had contributed on the logo design editing as well as products editing and the slides. I also did the final presentation board that was requested afterwards as an extra assignment.

Reflection:

For this assignment, the whole concept of this kiosk is making a compact design which is easier to bring to the destination and easy installment as well. In my honest opinion, it was quite tricky to do the whole compact design. It took awhile for us to do it again and again, however we finally manage to achieve it at the end. It was quite a challenge but it was a good experience and learning. 

Project 1: Research Findings: Curative Service

For this assignment, in a group of 4 people, we has to do research regarding our chosen topics that is related to a curative retreat center. For my group, the topic given to us is weight management. After did our research about this topic we decided that we will be focusing on confinement women. For this particular assignment, we need to produce a 2min video about the topic. By dividing the work load in the group, I was working on with the video editing together with Cherry(Chia Kha Wen) while the other 2 members; Ainaa and Karolina collected information for us.

Reflection:

This assignment was something different than our usual work previously and it was quite fun in a way. The topics was interesting and I learn a lot of things I never knew about before. It was a great start by learning more about the target user of the space for the incoming final project.

Final Project Progression(Part 2)

On the weekends, I did my photography final project at the Neighbourhood Coffee Sri Petaling. These are few of the shots I've taken. My theme is relaxation and my model portrait as when she is taking a break from all-nighter at a cafe in the morning.

Reflection:

I would like to a big thank you to Neighbourhood Coffee Cafe for letting me doing my photography project there. The services are good and fast. The staff are very friendly. I was not able to try the food(even though it look very tempting) but the drink was nice, especially the chocolate one. Yummy. The atmosphere is very calming and spacious. I would definitely love to come again and try out the food here in the nearest future.

Thank you to my model, Yasmin as well by helping me with this project. I know you were tired, but you still keep up with me. I really appreciate your efforts and patience with me due to this.
