Local Interior Designer

In the previous post, I've talk about the my design inspiration style, which is simple, clean and modern. In this post, I will be showing some of my favorite local interior design in Malaysia.

Casa Tropicana by Pocket Square
This kitchen gave a sense of simple and clean into space with its mostly white and minor dark colour scheme with a little hint of a marble. It makes the space look spacious for the small kitchen. The contrast between the dark floor and bar stool really stood out from the overall white colour scheme.

I love how they keep it simple and clean to the living room. The wood panel from the wall and ceiling added a bit of texture into the space. This space look very refreshing and cool even when the weather of our country is usually very hot and humid every year.

La Costa by Pocket Square
This is my ideal work space for declutter room. How the natural lighting came in to brighten up the space and the color scheme make it look spacious. The wood flooring brings out the texture details into the space. The colour scheme for this room make it look very calming and refreshing. When a room is clean and simple, its easier to do work with any distraction.

TTDI Plaza by Pocket Square
I love the colour scheme for this space, its very minimalism. The black L-shape sofa and the coffee table really stood out in the space. It is a great contrast between the whole space, such as the floor, wall and kitchen. The grey wall on the right really gave some texture into the space.

Five Stone by paul+pris
This space gave a sense of simplicity with a hint of blue statement among the grey scale colour scheme. The blue colour that stood out in this space is the blue armchair on the right corner near the window. Nevertheless, the whole space looks chic and modern. The carpet design was a bit not to my liking but it still suit with the design of the space.

On of the local interior designer I admired is paul+pris
paul+pris was established in year 2008 by Pauline Ng and Priscilla Ng because of their shared passion for design. Since both of them graduated from UK, they had their skill been trained and experienced in overseas and also local architecture, international branding and interior design firm. The picture below are some of their interior design works.

Most of their design are simple and modern yet also bold with some of the choice of colour, For example, like the one of the 8 scape showroom, the bright blue colour is very bold and stood out in the space giving a sense of characters into the space. Other than that. paul+pris really like designing monotone colour scheme into their space, which is something I like as well. I would love to see more of their work in the future.
